Things to do in Philly! Jan 17-19

All of Philadelphia is welcomed to join us this weekend in celebrating the birthday of one of the greatest American figure and founding father Benjamin Franklin! Ben Franklin will be celebrating his big 3-0-8 and all of Philadelphia is invited to the festivities.

There will be free admission to Ben Franklin Museum all weekend long on behalf of visitphilly.com to help celebrate and honor an extraordinary figure in American history. The museum is dedicated to the life and legacy of this iconic figure and during this weekend it will be hosting a parade, special presentations, and a grand birthday party with free cake! Eeveryone loves cake! The museum will be open 9am – 5pm all three days.

Hundreds of Philadelphians are expected to attend and you should be one of them! On Saturday at 11am there will a historical procession through the beautiful Old City neighborhood all the way to his resting place where members of his modern day Junto will pay tribute.

So if you need to find plans for your weekend come on out and celebrate this great patriot’s birthday with the rest of the Philadelphia and join in on the food, fun, and festivities!!
