This neighborhood was formerly mostly industrial and since the 80’s, has experienced a rebirth into residential and commercial stores and sits just North of Old City. Most of the buildings have been converted into condos and still retains a raw, industrial feel. You’ll find everything from studios and boutiques to restaurants, nightclubs and even a bowling alley! Residents like The Palm Market, a market great for the unique and the mundane, and The Foodery, which supplies the locals beers from all over! Northern Liberties is home to The Piazza, an open space surrounded by businesses and restaurants modeled after the Italian Piazza, and a wonderful community park and dog park, Orianna Hill.
