This riverfront residential community is currently enjoying a large influx of restaurants and a few galleries and shops. Johnny Brenda’s, at the most Southern corner of Fishtown, is the most popular nightspot, serving great food and offering up many people’s favorite music venue in the city where you can catch plenty of local and national acts. We also love Memphis Taproom, at the corner of Memphis and Cumberland Streets, offering up great food and a place to meet great neighbors. Greensgrow Farms, a hydroponic garden covering 1 acre, serves this neighborhood. Fishtown is also home to historic Palmer Cemetery and great coffeeshops and a Wawa with gas! Most recently, Fathom, a seafood bar/restaurant and Frankford Hall, a Stephen Starr version of a biergarden, have opened, drawing patrons from city and suburbs alike.
